MLC reaffirms digital focus with new website
MLC Life Insurance has bolstered its focus on big data, digital and technology with the launch of a new public website.
According to a statement, MLC said both big data and the new website align to the business’ aim to make life insurance simple, accessible and easy to understand.
MLC Life Insurance head of digital Tim Roso said the new website redesign offers an easy-to-use, informative and engaging experience for advisers, customers and superannuation funds.
“A key objective of the new website is to educate customers and create a better understanding of life insurance,” Mr Roso said.
“This objective is supported by the introduction of a life insurance cover selector tool – a new feature of the website – helping customers identify key protection goals and connect them with different insurance options.”
MLC said the new website is part of a strategy to become a more digitally focused organisation.
Earlier this month, MLC began processing its retail income protection and TPD claims through its partnership with ClaimVantage and using their claim management platform, ClaimFirst.
ClaimFirst is a cloud-based, automated life and health claim processing solution built on the Force.com platform.
