Synchron has named a new state manager for its Queensland arm, recruiting a former Challenger and ING staffer for the role.
Ben Donohue will commence as the new Queensland state manager from 6 April.
He began working in financial services in 2005, having most recently being a business development manager with Challenger in Brisbane.
Previously, Mr Donohue spent more than 12 years in business development roles with Asteron Life, as well as having been a case manager (underwriting) with ING.
Synchron director Don Trapnell commented, “He brings with him an enormous amount of enthusiasm for the industry and passion for adviser engagement.”
Mr Donohue said he is looking forward to working with Synchron’s advice firms.
“I’m very pleased that I will be helping them to further build and develop their practices and make the most of the many opportunities available in the current environment,” he said.
