A total of 30 winners took home trophies across the 25 individual and five group categories, selected from over 250 worthy finalists.

Winners were announced across categories that spanned the breadth of the financial services profession, including Principal of the Year, Employer of the Year (SME), Young Leader of the Year, Bookkeeper of the Year, and Fintech Leader of the Year.

Isabella Constantinou of Simplicity Loans & Advisory was the worthy recipient of the coveted Excellence Award, which recognises the highest-scoring individual winner.

Constantinou also took home the Commercial Finance Broker of the Year award earlier in the evening.

Other individual winners included Renee Cooper of InDepth Accounting as Accountant of the Year, Alexandra Brown of Ethical Invest Group as Entrepreneur of the Year, and Deslie Taylor of Mortgage Choice Ormeau & Yarrabilba as Mortgage Broker of the Year.

Some winners of the group categories included Forvis Mazars as Employer of the Year, Ladies Finance Club as Women’s Community Program of the Year, and Mortgage Choice as Training and Development Program of the Year.

The gala ceremony provided members of the financial services industry the opportunity to network with industry leaders and peers while celebrating the achievements of women in finance.

Australian comedian Claire Hooper assumed MC duties and provided light and laughter throughout the evening.

The Women in Finance Awards offer an unparalleled program that recognises excellence across the Australian finance services industry.

Winning one of these coveted awards can propel women in finance to new heights, offering national recognition for outstanding achievements in the sector.

This recognition helps professionals and businesses stand out from the competition, attract top talent, and strengthen market position while showcasing a commitment to excellence.

Annie Kane, managing editor of Mortgages, congratulated the winners, stating: “Momentum Media, in partnership with Mortgage Choice, are proud to honour the amazing women working across the finance industry.

“The winners of the Women in Finance Awards 2024 have been singled out as exemplars of excellence and have gone above and beyond to support the financial services industry. Whether they’re leading a business, helping clients understand and improve their financial position, or working diligently behind the scenes to make this industry better, these women are all contributing to a much-needed service – supporting the financial health of Australians.

“By celebrating these amazing women and businesses, we aim to not only celebrate the achievements of this hardworking minority but also inspire future generations of women to consider financial services as a profession.

“Congratulations to all of the winners of the Women in Finance Awards 2024.”
