All eyes were on the coveted Fund Manager of the Year award, which was awarded to Schroder Investment Management Australia for excellent achievement throughout the year.

The winners in the group categories were determined by Lonsec and included Vanguard All-World Ex-US Shares Index ETF, Blackwattle Investment Partners, Quay Global Real Estate Fund, Coller Capital, and P/E Global FX Alpha Fund.

The submission-based individual category winners included representatives from Macquarie Group, Schroders, and Centuria Capital Group.

Australian satirist, comedian, writer, and actor Mark Humphries assumed emcee duties and provided laughter and entertainment throughout the evening.

Winning one of the Fund Manager of the Year awards is a desirable accolade offering national recognition for excellent achievement throughout the assessment period.

Those walking away with trophies can capitalise on the award’s industry profile to advance their credibility and propel their career to unbounded success.

The prestigious awards ceremony offered a unique opportunity for professionals to network with industry leaders, colleagues, and peers while celebrating excellence.

Laura Dew, editor of ifa’s sister brand Money Management, congratulated the winners on their achievements.

“I would like to extend my congratulations to all of this year’s winners, both funds and individuals, for their achievements. In a year marked by market volatility and turbulence, this year’s winners have managed to successfully navigate through that to achieve outperformance in their respective funds,” Dew said.

“For our individual winners, they have demonstrated strong skillsets and aptitudes that mark them among the top in their game. Well done to all involved.”

The Fund Manager of the Year Awards has set the benchmark for excellence for institutions, investors, and advisers for more than three decades.

The judging criteria were uniquely developed to be both quantitative and qualitative, and acknowledged growth, business development, diversity, leadership, innovation, business excellence and contribution to Australia’s financial sector.
