Elders Financial Planning head Tony Beaven said in a statement that he welcomed the addition of the new practice, formally licensed by Australian Unity Personal Financial Services, and looked forward to working with Strategic Guidance Group and BJT Private’s owner, Luke Sheehan.

“Luke will be an excellent addition and further strengthen our strategic presence in Victoria, linking up and forging referral alliances with the other financial services divisions of Elders Ltd,” Mr Beaven said.

Elders also announced the appointment of Michael Payne as the company’s new practice development coach as part of a plan to strengthen “face-to-face coaching and support across the adviser network”.

“Over the last 18 months the business had created ‘structural capability’ by hiring an exceptionally qualified leadership and support team that had already met any proposed educational standard reforms, along with a series of support structures and processes that were cutting edge in the industry,” Mr Beaven said.
