The unparalleled ifa Excellence Awards is returning for its 11th year, with support from principal partner Padua, to recognise independent financial advisers and their practices as well as the top businesses and professionals in the financial services sector across Australia.

The ifa Excellence Awards program will culminate in a black-tie gala ceremony on Thursday, 5 December 2024, at The Fullerton Hotel, Sydney. Click here to buy tickets.

There are 18 individual categories on offer for candidates this year, including the brand-new Client Services Co-ordinator of the Year and ESG Adviser of the Year awards.

Other categories range from Holistic Adviser of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, Regional Adviser of the Year, and Practice Principal of the Year.

At the end of the ceremony, the highest-scoring individual winner and the highest scoring company will each receive a prestigious ifa Excellence Award.

Companies can choose from 13 group categories at this year’s awards, including the new Financial Impact Team of the Year.

The remaining categories include Best Financial Advice Employer of the Year, Dealer Group of the Year, and Self-Licensed Firm of the Year.

The awards are open to all businesses and professionals operating in the Australian financial advice profession and those supporting the profession, ranging from financial advice practices to training and education providers, executives, investment advisers, paraplanners, and young advisers.

Businesses and professionals who win an award not only gain national recognition, but for some, the win has allowed them to strengthen their position in the profession and grow their client base.

The winners will be chosen by a well-respected panel of academics, business executives, entrepreneurs, and innovators, ensuring a peer-reviewed recognition of your capabilities.

Maja Garaca Djurdjevic, managing editor of wealth management at ifa’s parent company, Momentum Media, said: “These awards are a testament to excellence, honouring the dedicated efforts of individuals and firms that make a significant impact on the profession.

“Becoming a finalist in the ifa Excellence Awards can transform your career and business. It’s a platform to showcase your achievements, elevate your personal brand, and open new horizons.

“Let this be the year you gain the recognition you deserve in the financial advice profession.”
