Now in its ninth year, the awards recognise the best and brightest in the independent advice sector and the stellar work and achievements of advisers, practices, and licensees.

The awards pinpoint professional development and innovation, showcasing both individuals and groups that are leading the way in the industry.

They recognise the contributions of the industry’s most senior ranks as well as the rising stars, start-ups and established and transformed businesses.

It presents an opportunity for those in the advice industry to distinguish themselves and strengthen their position while elevating their personal brand.

This year, award entrants can submit an entry or nominate a worthy colleague across 28 individual and company categories. At the end of the ceremony, one individual winner will be chosen as the recipient of the prestigious Excellence Award in recognition of their passion for driving the industry forward.

The awards are peer-reviewed by a panel of well-respected judges, including academics, business executives, entrepreneurs, and innovators.

Speaking about the awards program, ifa deputy editor Neil Griffiths said: “The last 12 months has again been testing for the independent advice community due to the impact of the pandemic and regulatory challenges.

“However, as always, the sector has endured. Moreover, with the Quality of Advice Review coming up in December, there is even more reason to be optimistic.

“We look forward to honouring and celebrating the individuals and firms who thrived and whose innovation led the way for the sector.”
