Barry Strapps who joined Interprac Financial Planning last year as regional manager for South Australia and Western Australia, will help bolster Sequoia’s advice network and be based in Adelaide.

Prior to joining InterPrac, Mr Strapps worked at Centrepoint, Asteron and AMP where he assisted advisers and accountants to build their businesses.

Meanwhile Interprac’s regional manager for Victoria and Tasmania, Paul Griffiths, has also joined Sequoia and has been credited with extensive experience in helping practices improve efficiency and long-term success.

Mr Griffiths, who will be based in Melbourne, previously served as regional manager for Centrepoint.

Finally, Interprac’s adviser technology consultant Jaclyn Bazin has been brought on board with over 14 years’ experience and expertise in Xplan.

Ms Bazin has also previously worked at Queensland-based Enzumo as its senior advice technology consultant.

“Sequoia is focussed on providing multiple services to its advice community that are delivered by industry professionals with extensive financial services industry experience and expertise,” Sequoia managing director Garry Crole said.

“Our objective is to utilise scale to drive down the cost of providing advice and the recent acquisition and incorporation of Docscentre Legal Pty Ltd (previously known as Topdocs Legal Pty Ltd) is a high-profile confirmation of Sequoia’s commitment to enhancing its adviser focused services and mission.”
