The financial planning software provider has announced that it has completed an integration with Annature, allowing advisers to streamline document processes with electronic signatures.

In a joint statement, the businesses explained that the new integration will enable digital signing of documents for advisers and their clients though Plutosoft’s secure Premium Client Hub Portal.

In addition to improving efficiency, the new technology also provides an additional layer of cyber security as it reduces the need for documents with sensitive information to travel via less-secure means, such as email, utilising the client portal instead.

Speaking on the announcement, Plutosoft’s co-founder, Vincent Holland, highlighted the security and efficiency benefits of the new integration.

“Emails containing client-sensitive information can be intercepted by cyber criminals. Users can now create signature-ready documents directly in Plutosoft and share them for signature through our secure client portal,” Holland said.

“The feature will also enable client documents, including records of advice (ROAs) and fee disclosure statements (FDS) to be generated and signed in bulk.”

Corey Cacic, chief executive and founder of Annature, said the new capabilities will allow advisers to maintain the security of their clients’ information against the risks of digital technology.

“As the digital landscape evolves, it is essential that financial advisers adapt to cyber risks. Practices can organise all their documents through the Plutosoft integration,” Cacic said.

“This integration will help strengthen the digital advice technology market in Australia and Annature is proud to have partnered with Plutosoft, another Australian-made and owned business.”

Holland said the new innovation highlights the company’s commitment to enhancing its user experience.

“Our goal is to be the stand-out trusted software provider to financial advice practices. Integrations like this demonstrate Plutosoft’s commitment to being an innovative and comprehensive software solution for financial advisers,” he added.

Last year, Plutosoft partnered with Generation Life to deliver data feed integrations to its platform, including up-to-date holdings, transactions, and asset allocation.

The company said the integrated feed would allow advisers to make investment recommendations and produce important advice documents, including statements of advice (SOAs), ROAs, and review reports, improving efficiency for advisers.
