Paul Greenwood of WealthSpan in Melbourne was the winner of the Europe/Australia region, according to a statement.

“We launched the awards to showcase financial planners doing professional, fiduciary-level planning while transforming their clients’ lives,” said Plan Plus Global chief executive Shawn Brayman.

“We had absolutely no idea the snowball effect that the Global Awards would have on advisers worldwide. The response from countries like Australia, Malaysia and India has been incredible.”

Winners receive a fully paid trip to this year’s Financial Planning Association (US) Annual Conference in Minneapolis, Minnesota, from 16-18 October and will receive their awards during the annual PlanPlus Global International Breakfast on 15 October.

Who cares. More waffle about nothing in particular. How about addressing the real issues. There you go. You can issue an award for anyone who brings down FARCICAL, removes vertical integration or god forbid, takes on ASIC.
