Reon Botha will lead the WA sales team as its state manager, NEOS Life said in a statement.

Mr Botha has worked within the life insurance industry since 1992, both as a financial adviser and as a business development manager, and was most recently a senior business development manager with AIA in Perth.

Joining Mr Botha in WA will be business development manager John Griffiths and senior underwriter Kon Vaporakis.

Mr Griffiths was most recently a business development manager for MLC Life Insurance in Perth, while Mr Vaporakis was most recently a principal underwriter for AIA Australia in Perth.

“As with all NEOS staff, we’ve recruited Reon, John and Kon because they’re the absolute best at what they do and are passionate about delivering an outstanding NEOS Experience at every adviser and client interaction,” said NEOS Life managing director Brett Yardley.

“What’s more, their appointment highlights the success of NEOS to date in that we’ve been able to provide an on-the-ground, local presence in Western Australian so soon after our launch.”

I am a fellow adviser who has been highly impressed with their service & efficiencies. Highly recommend you meet with them to gain clarity on their business. They have addressed all the frustrations and pain points I have suffered too long from other companies. Loving they are a local Australian business & 100% independently owned, only supporting advisers, true advocated to our industry.
Well done NEOS Life for the outstanding standards you are providing.

You keep on calling NEOS a life insurer. It is not a life insurer – it’s just another company which sells life insurance policies issued by real insurers.
