Luther Poier, a former private wealth adviser at the Commonwealth Bank, has also joined the Koda partnership, according to a statement from the firm.

While at CBA he “provided specialist investment advice to many of Australia’s wealthiest individuals and families”, the statement said.

Koda Capital was launched in late 2014, aiming to provide “independent” advice to HNW clients.

Former Godfrey Pembroke adviser Sean Abbott also recently joined the firm as a partner.
