The FSC presented the Consumer Innovation award to AIA Australia and Sunsuper for eClaims, while also awarding BT Financial Group for its work on advanced terminal illness.
The FSC also awarded MLC’s chief underwriter and head of underwriting quality and standard, Fiona Guscott, the Industry Pioneer award.
ANZ’s Australia wealth managing director Alexis George picked up the leadership award, while ANZ also picked up the Social Media award for its #equalfuture campaign.
AIA and Sunsuper also picked up the Big Thinking award for its Permanent is no Longer Permanent research.
Meanwhile, BT claims consultant Rhiannon Wilson was presented with the Young Achiever award.
Commenting on the awards, FSC chief executive Sally Loane said the life industry is undergoing “unprecedented change” that is generating innovation and transformative thinking.

talk about covering there asses the FSC gave every company an award probably because there all on the board of the FSC, there next executives will come from the associations that sold all the advisers out and it is time all advisers cancelled there membership with AFA and FPA as a matter of pride.
So ANZ under ASIC scrutiny picked up awards. I’m surprised the FSC didn’t award Comminsure for “best profit initiatives”.
“Unprecedented change” is correct but more like unprecedented changes to increase profits at the expense of clients and advisers.
meanwhile in the real world the FSC continues to attempt wiping out the IFA. Wonder what they will award themselves for that success?
