In a statement yesterday, Elders announced Andrew Lane will be joining EFP Bundaberg as a financial planner.

Mr Lane joins Elders from his recent position as wealth adviser at NAB, before which he was a financial planner at the bank, according to his LinkedIn profile.

“The peer relationships across Elders and specifically EFP Bundaberg coupled with the extensive support networks and systems that are in place … makes a real difference for advisers,” Mr Lane said.

Elders general manager Tony Beaven said, “This is a particularly exciting time for Andrew to join our dealer group, as we have just rolled out our digital enhancements into the adviser network.”

Following the onboarding of 10 practices in 2016, this is the second appointment for Elders in 2017 as they expand their adviser footprint across metropolitan and rural areas of Australia, the statement said.

“The industry has warmly received our dealer group offering to financial advice practices, and we are currently in discussions with financial planning businesses in both CBD and rural areas across Australia,” Mr Beaven said.
