Financial services and advisory firm Findex has announced the acquisition of Kristen Lovett Accounting Services Pty Ltd (KLAS Business and Accounting) in Tenterfield, NSW.

KLAS Business and Accounting was established in 2006 with the objective of providing rural and regional clients with the most current advice. Founder and director, Kristen Lovett, has been in the accounting industry for 27 years.

Commenting on the acquisition, Ms Lovett said: “KLAS understands that not all business owners enjoy the numbers or understand them, so the philosophy of ‘understanding your business, not just the numbers’ has become embedded into the DNA of KLAS.”

“By joining Findex, KLAS Business and Accounting clients will now be complemented by Findex’s comprehensive suite of accounting, wealth, tax and advisory services,” she continued.

The Central North team’s reach will grow to 17 office locations with the addition of 253 Rouse Street, Tenterfield NSW.

Findex executive head for accounting and tax, Anthony Venneri, explained that Tenterfield and its current neighbouring offices are an important region for the firm’s growth plans, and welcomed Ms Lovett and the KLAS team.

“I’m looking forward to Kristen’s leadership and seeing the team come together to further build our presence and impact for clients in Northern New South Wales.”

Rob Caldwell, managing partner in Findex’s Central North region, said the newly acquired location displays the firm’s “appetite to grow stronger” within the region.

“The most exciting part of this transaction is what we can now offer to Tenterfield clients in regard to additional specialist financial services tailor-made to help our new clients grow. And that is one of the foundation blocks of Findex — to help our clients grow, prosper, and achieve as many wins as possible, both personally and with their enterprising businesses,” Mr Caldwell concluded.
