Findex appoints over 40 new partners to firm

And over 50 across Australia and New Zealand.

Findex has announced over 40 new partners and associate partners across metro and regional Australia.

This week, the financial services and advisory firm confirmed 46 new partners – the majority being internal promotions – and a total of 57 across Australia and New Zealand; almost a 50 per cent increase from the previous year.

Half of the new appointments are based in regional locations, which the company said reflects its commitment to on-the-ground support for regional clients.

The new partners will work across a range of specialist areas, including wealth management, business advisory, risk insurance and tax advisory.

“Findex employs almost 3,000 people throughout Australia and New Zealand with over 100 offices – many in regional areas – so we are a major employer. A large part of our success can be attributed to fostering career progression and providing opportunity to our talented cohort of emerging leaders across a range of disciplines, no matter where they reside,” Findex chief growth officer Chris Carey said.

“The Findex partnership team across Australia is one that we are extremely proud of as we move into the new financial year. These new appointments enhance our ability to service both regional and metropolitan areas with local, on the ground expertise and reflect the strong growth trajectory the business is on.”

Currently, Findex employs 2,700 staff across Australia and New Zealand and services over 250,000 clients with over $17 billion funds under advice.

The news comes only weeks after Findex announced the acquisition of McGarva Accounting Group, which trades under Atticus Business Accountants and Basecamp Bookkeeping in Toowoomba.

McGarva founder and director May McGarva – who launched Atticus in 2016, followed soon after by Basecamp – said the group partnered with Findex to further enhance its service offering.

The existing suite of services available to Atticus and Basecamp clients will be complemented by Findex’s accounting, wealth, tax and advisory services.

Findex confirmed that Atticus and Basecamp Bookkeeping commenced in the Findex Toowoomba office on 16 May and started trading under the Findex name on 13 May.
