Run in conjunction with principal partner Padua, the prestigious awards program celebrates the individuals and organisations driving the industry forward, celebrating rising stars and innovative start-ups through to seasoned executives and established businesses.

There are over 30 categories on offer this year, with the highest scoring individual winner set to be rewarded with the coveted Excellence Award during the awards ceremony.

For more than a decade, the prestigious awards have championed financial advisers and set the benchmark for excellence across the profession.

Those named as finalists include representatives from Pivot Wealth, Solace Financial, Verse Wealth, BlueRock, Thriving Wealth, and more.

Risk advisers, paraplanners, investment advisers, holistic advisers and financial impact teams were all represented in the list of finalists.

The winners will be announced at the black-tie gala ceremony on Thursday, 4 December 2025 at the Hilton in Sydney. Click here to buy tickets.

How the finalists were selected

The ifa Excellence Awards, in conjunction with event stakeholders ifa, Momentum Media, and a panel of leading financial advice professionals and businesses, has developed a robust awards methodology to form the backbone for assessing, analysing and benchmarking Australia’s leading advice professionals.

All submissions undergo a thorough audit process, checking demographic and other information against category eligibility criteria based on the information provided in the submission.

Those submissions deemed eligible against submission criteria are reviewed and assessed by a panel of ifa events and editorial team members and executives, plus industry stakeholders where required, to determine the finalists for each category.

Finalist submissions will now be delivered to a panel of respected professionals and business leaders who will assess each submission against the criteria of each award category.
