ClearView Wealth has announced three new life insurance hires and two internal promotions within its national distribution to help provide additional support to financial advisers.

Alex Koodrin, who was previously senior product manager, advised life insurance at BT Financial Group, has been named as national technical manager.

Two new business development managers have also joined ClearView: Jeremy Anthony, formerly of MLC Life Insurance, and Mathew Amanovich, who was previously at BT.

The internal promotions include Leah Henshaw and Heather Sherwell, who have both been promoted from business development associates to digital business development managers.

Ms Henshaw was formerly a financial adviser and has held a variety of business development roles at ClearView since joining in 2016, while Ms Sherwell joined the firm in 2017.

Commenting on the appointments, ClearView head of distribution strategy, Kathryn Williamson, said that changing economic conditions and a wave of new life insurance and income protection products meant that advisers required extra support to understand these changes and how they could impact clients.

“We continue to invest in our people capability to better support our business partners,” she said.

“Our distribution team is knowledgeable, experienced and responsive. We are focused on supporting advisers to deliver quality service and advice while driving business productivity, efficiency and growth.”

Last month, ClearView announced an expansion to its claims management capability with the appointment of Alicia Edwards to the newly created position of rehabilitation manager.
