Three out of four of the new appointments are internal promotions, having previously held roles within Class.

On Tuesday, Gary Cox, Tracy Williams, Tom Sargent and Jo Hurley were announced as the new general managers for Class.

The new operating model aligns Class and NowInfinity client propositions with responsibility for the support of HUBconnect offers that are now transitioning into the Class business.

These appointments follow the recent recruitment of Tim Steele as Class CEO after the acquisition of Class by HUB24 in February 2022. He officially commenced with his role on 1 August 2022.

Mr Steele expressed that he was “delighted” to announce these appointments to the Class leadership team as they embed a new operating model “led by a passionate, innovative and customer-focused leadership team.”

“The appointments are testament to the capability we have within Class as well as our ability to attract great talent to our business,” Mr Steele said.

Mr Cox, formerly the head of business services, will be responsible for providing customer service across a range of Class products such as Class Super, Class Portfolio and Class Trust as the company’s general manager.

Previously Class’ head of operations, Ms Williams has been appointed general manager of NowInfinity to focus on the delivery of, and accountability for customer support and solutions.

Former head of technical services, Mr Sargent will now be the general manager for Data/HUBconnect to develop and produce data solutions that will enable efficiency and growth for the business’s partners as well as support the delivery of HUBconnect offers in the market.

Joining Class as general manager, growth, and well-established SMSF expert, Ms Hurley will lead a team focused on supporting the company’s current customers and partners along with building new relationships and propositions for customer segments.

Panos Alexandratos will continue in his role of chief solutions officer for Class, and will continue to drive the development and delivery of several products and services for the company.

Mr Steele further commented that the new appointments position the company and its people to deliver on their strategies, which includes focusing on their core SMSF capabilities and enhancing their “market leading solutions.”

“We will be working closely with our colleagues at HUB24 to develop innovative solutions that deliver great outcomes for our customers and collaborating with industry partners to grow the SMSF market,” Mr Steele said.
