The ifa Excellence Awards black-tie gala dinner will be held on Wednesday, 6 December 2023, at the Four Seasons in Sydney. Click here to book your tickets.

Since launching in 2014, the unparalleled awards program has showcased the depth of talent across Australia’s leading professionals and businesses in the financial advice industry, while affirming the sector’s essential role in supporting the expansion of Australia.

There are 17 individual and 12 group awards on offer for entrants to choose from, and they are open to all businesses operating in Australia supporting the industry, including senior executives, rising stars, as well as new and established businesses.

Individual categories include Client Outcome of the Year, Dealer Group Executive of the Year, Holistic Adviser of the Year, and Young Adviser of the Year (30 years or under).

Group categories include Best Financial Advice Employer, Client Servicing Company of the Year, Dealer Group of the Year, and Self-Licensed Firm of the Year.

Qualifying as a finalist could distinguish businesses and professionals from their competitors and allow them to elevate their personal brand and unlock new career opportunities.

Winners will be given the opportunity for press coverage, interviews, professional photos, and exclusive collateral.

The awards will be judged by a well-respected panel of academics, business executives, entrepreneurs, and innovators providing peer-reviewed recognition of the capabilities of businesses and professionals in financial advice and their passion for driving it forward.

Maja Garaca Djurdjevic, managing editor of advice and distribution at ifa’s parent, company Momentum Media, said: “This year, we celebrate a decade of honouring the exceptional talent within the Australian independent financial advice industry.”

“These awards have become a symbol of excellence, recognising the tireless efforts of individuals and firms that make a significant impact on the sector,” she added.

“Becoming a finalist in the ifa Excellence Awards can be a game changer for your career and business. It’s a platform to showcase your achievements, enhance your personal brand, and unlock new horizons. We encourage all eligible professionals and businesses to seize this chance.

“Let this be the year you gain the recognition you deserve in the financial advice industry.”
