In October this year the World Health organisation appointed Robert Mugabe as a goodwill ambassador and now some punters have expressed concern that ASIC have appointed Brad Fox to its Financial Services and Credit Panel

Where did the ‘expressions of interest from the industry’ come from in support of Brad Fox. Could it have come from the FSC or one its members. Or perhaps it was from the AFA or FPA.

It is not unreasonable to ask but we know that we will never be told.

All I can say about this is that I hope some lessons have been learnt from the past and that this attempt to provide JUST SOME FAIRNESS to Risk Advisers is a lot more successful.

The pendulum has gone way too far to the ‘left’ and we need some corrections or else it just won;t be feasible or viable for advisers to stay in the industry.

From my understanding they will be compensated for travel allowances and that’s about it.

Now I’ve heard it all. The a person who put up no resistance to ASIC’s flawed life insurance report and colluded with the FSC or should I say (“alleged misconduct”) to decimate non aligned risk advice is on the panel. Lets hope he’s not in charge of the finances after the mess left on that side too.
