In a statement issued today, AIA said the program will use the “latest research in behavioural economics, incentivisation and wellness” in order to “stimulate people to take the first steps towards healthy living”.
The program will initially be sold through financial advisers.
“We’re excited about AIA Vitality,” said AIA Australia chief executive Peter Crewe. “We believe the program will allow us to engage with customers in a compelling manner that both encourages and empowers them to make real improvements in their health.
“As everyone in the industry is aware at the moment, we need to find new ways to connect and engage with Australians about the need for life insurance.”
