Taking place from 25-27 August, the Adviser Innovation Summit offers the opportunity to learn from some of the industry’s top minds on how to innovate your business processes, staffing, client engagement and technology strategy in a rapidly changing advice environment.

Brought to you by ifa sister brand Adviser Innovation and principal partner BT, this free virtual event will give attendees the inside track to accelerate performance through leveraging cutting-edge innovations and learning to embrace new models of working.

Speakers announced so far include futurist Simon Waller, augmented reality expert Jamie Engel, money coach Melissa Meagher and fintech chief Mark MacLeod.

“Given the transformation we’ve seen in the advice sector and the economy more broadly through the COVID-19 crisis, it’s especially critical for advisers to consider new ways of doing business,” Adviser Innovation and ifa editor Sarah Kendell said.

“This year’s Adviser Innovation Summit will take delegates on a journey to future-proof every facet of their business, making use of new technologies and ways of working to create a more efficient practice with happier clients.”

“We are excited to be partnering with ifa on the Adviser Innovation Summit 2020,” said Kathy Vincent, BT general manager of platforms, investments and operations.

“BT has been committed to innovation for 50 years. We were the first to introduce wrap platforms to Australia, and we continue to evolve, listening to advisers and their clients, adapting our services and tools to meet their changing needs.

“The benefits of evolving technology have never been better demonstrated than during the COVID-19 pandemic. We noticed that the use of tools such as our BT Panorama app significantly increased, demonstrating the role smart technology can play in helping advisers deliver value to their clients.

“We look forward to new opportunities for technology to help us all operate more efficiently with the sharing of ideas, experiences and innovations during this event.”
