MyNextAdvice said in a statement that it helps users understand the experience of their clients better, and use the insights generated to improve their performance and grow their business.
It said its integration will enable XPLAN users to tangibly demonstrate true client focus by ‘closing the loop’ on the entire client experience rather than just relying on the statement of advice.
Further, the integration will give users of XPLAN direct access to the service using the existing functionality within their XPLAN account.
MyNextAdvice chief executive Ray McHale said the integration comes at a critical time for the financial planning industry due to the recent release of the final report of the Hayne royal commission.
“The clear focus on customer best interest, transparency and delivering value for money are all key themes in the report and promise to be transformative for the industry,” Mr McHale said.
“We’re really excited to be able to bring our unique ability to understand client relationships and predict financial performance to all XPLAN users.”
CORRECTION: A previous version of this article referred to MyNextAdvice as an advice CRM software firm. It is not a CRM firm and the headline has been amended accordingly. ifa apologises for this error.

IFA … please stop messing with my head. MyNextAdvice is a client survey/satisfaction tool. Looks interesting, but NOT a CRM. When I read the title I was hoping Xplan might finally be connecting with a real CRM (e.g. PractiFi or FinPal). They have both told me they’re willing … and are just waiting for Xplan to release their “open” APIs. Oh look … a flying pig.
Right? The irony is that Xplan claims to be a CRM! It would have to be the worst software in the country with the largest market saturation. I can’t wait for some decent US Fintech to hit our shores and drive their fees down and quality up.
Can I ask why it’s so bad? We’re about to start using it and it seems the only software capable of modelling correctly due to its wizard application.
We’ve tried everything else and they always have wrong numbers / calcs. Looking at you midwinter and adviserlogic!
But yeah if you can save us the drama of another wasted two months would be great!
