In its seventh year, the 2020 ifa Excellence Awards, partnered by Capital Group, will move to an exciting live broadcast event format.

The awards recognise the outstanding work done by the independent advice community, including advisers, support staff, licensees and practices.

Given the extraordinary business pressures facing advisers as a result of COVID-19 and broader regulatory change, taking time to recognise the amazing outcomes practitioners deliver for their businesses and clients is more important than ever, ifa editor Sarah Kendell said.

“The ifa Excellence Awards pinpoint professional development and innovation, showcasing both the individuals and firms who are leading the way in the industry,” Ms Kendell said.

“This year the awards will take on a particular significance, helping to acknowledge the efforts advice practices and their staff have gone to to keep clients on the right track and businesses as productive as ever in the face of a once in a generation world event.”

Submissions for the awards can be made until Wednesday, 3 September, and a selection of categories are available to browse here.

“I encourage advisers to nominate themselves or a peer for the 2020 awards, which provide a valuable opportunity to recognise the contributions of everyone from the profession’s most senior ranks through to its rising stars,” Ms Kendell said.

The awards will be held as a live broadcast event on Thursday, 29 October.

Nominate yourself, a colleague or a hardworking business in the industry today by clicking here.
