BT announces new software updates for ‘better client experience’

BT has announced some new updates to its insurance quoting and application software, LifeCENTRAL+.

The latest updates to the wealth institution’s software include the ability for advisers to provide in-force quotes in less than 10 minutes.

The new in-force functionality can be used by most eligible single life insured and stepped premium Protection Plans policies.

“The new in force feature on LifeCENTRAL+ benefits both advisers and clients,” BT’s head of adviser distribution, life insurance, Steve Craig said.


“An adviser can be on a phone or video call with a client, conducting a review of their life insurance needs, and obtain a quote right there and then.

“This can help the adviser and client make decisions on updating policies with minimal delay, resulting in a better client experience and more efficient process for the adviser.”

The LIFECENTRAL+ updates come as BT celebrates the 10th anniversary of its BT Protection Plans.
