Sydney risk practice announces merger

Orion Financial Group’s merger with Profile Financial Services occurred on 2 September 2019, according to the Profile’s website.

Orion noted the move was to “ensure a sustainable succession plan” which resulted in the merger with Profile.

“We are delighted that Sacha, Igor, Jennifer, Erica and Karla will remain with Profile. We look forward to working together to provide continuity of support for you in your financial affairs,” it said.

In a LinkedIn message, Orion director and senior risk adviser Sacha Loutkovsky said the merger solves a major problem that has been worrying managing director Igor Loutkovsky for some time.

“As he’s shared with us, ‘it’s time to start looking forward to the next chapter of my life, I’m not getting any younger!’,” Ms Loutkovsky said.

“But don’t worry, he has no plans to retire immediately and will continue to advise for some time yet.”
