Integrity Life makes board appointment

Insurer Integrity Life has appointed a former Munich Re Group executive to its board, in addition to making two senior hires in operations and product.

In a statement, the company announced former Munich Re managing director for Australasia Heinrich Eder as an independent non-executive director to the board, with Integrity Life chair Eric Dodd adding the business will benefit from Mr Eder’s depth of knowledge.

“Heinrich’s extensive leadership and sector experience ideally complements the expertise of my fellow Board members, and will be of great value to Integrity as it progresses from new entrant to established market player,” Mr Dodd said.

“We are very pleased to welcome Heinrich and look forward to leveraging his industry insights.”

Integrity Life also announced the appointments of Jacqueline Little and Mark McCrea as head of product and operations manager respectively.

Ms Little was previously the national manager for product policy with ANZ, while Mr McCrea makes the move from ClearView Wealth, where he was employed as head of operations.

The company’s managing director, Chris Powell, said the two new hires will bolster Integrity Life’s existing leadership team.
