ifa unveils inaugural Australian Wealth Management Summit

The one-day conference will delve into the latest developments in the financial services landscape, offering valuable insights to help industry professionals navigate domestic and global economic affairs.

Leading economists will deliver insightful sessions on the economic dynamics influencing wealth management and the factors propelling change in both domestic and global markets.

Keynote speakers include AMP chief economist and head of investment strategy Dr Shane Oliver; vice-president at T. Rowe Price Group and T. Rowe Price Australia, Cassandra Crowe, CFA; as well as Future Fund deputy chief investment officer, Alicia Gregory.

Other speakers include:

  • Justine Marquet – head of technical services at Allianz Retire+
  • Christopher Chen – CFA, vice-president and senior investment director at American Century Investments
  • David Steinthal – chief investment officer at L1 Capital International

The summit will focus on strategies that resonate with investment advisers, financial planners, professional investors, private wealth advisers, high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and the broader wealth management industry.

The Australian Wealth Management Summit 2024 is being held jointly by ifa and its sister brands across Momentum Media’s wealth publishing network, including InvestorDaily, SMSF Adviser, Money Management, and Super Review.

In her keynote address, Ms Gregory will share insights into the role the Future Fund plays in the local economy, highlighting how the sovereign wealth fund’s strategic investments fortify the Australian government’s long-term financial position and contribute to various initiatives.

Throughout the summit, attendees will have the opportunity to network with industry leaders, their peers and colleagues, and attend the exhibition.
