De Gori joins FPSB

Dante De Gori has joined the Financial Planning Standards Board.

Following a six-year sting as the chief executive of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA), Mr De Gori announced on Friday (6 May) that he has been appointed head of stakeholder engagement at the Financial Planning Standards Board (FPSB).

Taking to his LinkedIn, Mr De Gori said: “I am delighted to be able to take my experience internationally and support the growth of the financial planning profession around the world!”

Mr De Gori left the FPA in July, following a six-year term as CEO and 12 years with the association.

“Dante’s contribution and advocacy during a period of great change and upheaval has been instrumental in helping develop recognition for financial planning as a profession,” FPA chair Marisa Broome said at the time.

“He will leave a lasting positive legacy at the FPA, and we wish him all the best for his future plans.”

The FPSB is an international organisation that sets global standards in financial planning. According to its website, the organisation’s mission is to “benefit the global community by establishing, upholding and promoting worldwide professional standards in financial planning”.
