The listed advice group’s chief operating officer is set to join AZ Next Generation Advisory.
The professional services company confirmed Graham McGeagh’s appointment on Wednesday (8 December), who will join its senior leadership team in early 2022.
Mr McGeagh will oversee AZ NGA’s offer and service proposition to member firms, as well as lead business transformation initiatives and help execute the group’s strategy.
Chief executive Paul Barrett said the appointment reflects AZ NGA’s ambition to become one of Australia’s pre-eminent professional services companies.
“Graham brings valuable skills and experience to AZ NGA and his appointment strengthens the senior leadership team,” Mr Barrett said.
“The industry is at an inflection point and we see plenty of opportunities for experienced, well capitalised players.
“We are ready to support accountants and advisers to participate in that growth story.”
Mr McGeagh, who has previously served as director of 11 CountPlus-owned firms and three as chair, has also worked as CEO of Benson Radiology and Finlaysons Lawyers.
“AZ NGA stands out as a dynamic organisation with a clear vision and strategy, and the necessary skills, capability and capacity to execute that strategy,” Mr McGeagh said.
“It is a great business with extraordinary opportunities and I am excited about contributing to the group’s ongoing success.”
