PPS Mutual adds new recruit from AIA

The life insurance group has appointed a former AIA client development manager as its new BDM for Victoria.

In a statement, PPS Mutual said it had recruited Rory-John Jacobs to the position of senior business development manager for the southern state.

Mr Jacobs had most recently been client development manager for AIA Australia and had previously worked for outsourcing company Vertex Data Science.

In his new role, he would report to PPS state manager Shadia Kouzma and be responsible for the management of key financial adviser relationships in Victoria.

“Mr Jacobs’ experience in developing and maintaining strong relationships with financial advisers and key stakeholders in the Australian financial services industry will provide much value for PPS Mutual,” Ms Kouzma said.

“We are confident that Rory-John’s expertise aligns with PPS Mutual’s unique proposition that focuses on creating security and peace of mind for Members in both their working life and retirement. His appointment is a strong addition to an already high-performing team.”

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Jacobs said PPS’ unique proposition in life insurance drew him to work for the group.
