Freshly launched advice and investment management boutique Walker Lane has named the former head of investment at the Myer Family Company as a new committee chair.
Sydney University chief investment officer Miles Collins will be chair of Walker Lane’s investment committee from January.
He previously spent eight years as the head of investment at the Myer Family Company.
Joshua Cratchley, director of Walker Lane, said the appointment “completes a core component” of the company’s value proposition.
“Miles’ expertise and proven track record in the investment space provides Walker Lane with a capability to help the business achieve its growth aspirations and our advisers look forward to working with him,” Mr Cratchley said.
”In the early part of his career, Mr Collins worked as a discretionary investment manager with an Edinburgh-based legal firm before moving to Sydney and working with Standard & Poors, the global research house.”
