FASEA has announced its August exam sessions will only be offered remotely for Victorian advisers affected by the six-week lockdown period.
In a statement, the authority said it had cancelled all physical exams in August for advisers in metropolitan Melbourne.
"Advisers who have registered for a Melbourne physical location exam will have the option to sit the exam remotely or defer to October or a later sitting," FASEA said.
The authority said it would still offer physical exam sittings for advisers in Geelong, Ballarat, Traralgon and Albury-Wodonga.
"This measure is being taken in light of the evolving COVID-19 pandemic situation in Victoria and in the interests of all involved with the exam," FASEA said.
"The exam administrator will contact candidates registered for August Melbourne metropolitan exam sittings to explain their options to sit the exam."
