David Blair will share coverage of financial advisers in South Australia with Melbourne-based Stephen Nguyen, who also looks after Victoria, Western Australia and Tasmania, AB said in a statement.
Prior to joining AB, Mr Blair was key account manager at Grant Samuel Funds Management, where he worked for nearly seven years. Before that, he spent nearly six years at Investors Mutual, where he was state manager.
“The strong growth we’ve experienced in our retail funds and separately managed accounts during the last two years has been the catalyst for expanding our team,” said AB’s director – Australian client group, Ben Moore.
“David brings an excellent blend of skills and experience well suited to driving further progress for AB in the Australian market, based on the firm’s global capabilities and its focus on developing solutions appropriate to clients’ needs.”
