Infocus Wealth Management has named two former Australian Unity executives as new members of the dealer group’s senior leadership team.
Jeff Mitchell and Craig Meldrum have been appointed to the roles of chief investment officer and head of technical services, respectively, the company said.
Responding to questions from ifa, an Infocus spokesperson said the two appointments signal the business’ “clear intent and direction for the future” and bolsters the company’s existing skill set.
“With them on the team we add respected industry talent to the leadership team who are aligned to Infocus’ beliefs,” the spokesperson said.
“These appointments enhance our technical strength, are leaders of integrity and show Infocus is a licensee of choice for influential industry people.”
Mr Mitchell will head up the company’s investment research team, while Mr Meldrum will add “further experience” to Infocus’ advice process.
“Obviously for us, the timing is ideal with the new financial year just starting,” the spokesperson said.
“We have our future looking plans in place, however they still allow the flexibility such that both Jeff and Craig have the opportunity to influence these initiatives and add their experience and thoughts to them.”
