Non-aligned advice firm Bluewater Financial Advisors has named Sean Sandilands as the new director of the business’ securities division.
Mr Sandilands previously worked with Ascot Securities, and in his new role will provide advice in direct equities and oversee Bluewater’s asset management division.
In a statement, Bluewater chief executive Phillip Alexander said Mr Sandilands’ history working in the equities space positions him well for the role, adding that he was “delighted” with the appointment.
“Sean has 20 years’ experience in direct equities, and this corresponds with a growing consumer demand for transparency in their portfolios,” he said.
Mr Sandilands commenced in the role on 1 March 2018.
