Funds management group Legg Mason has announced the appointment of Adam Muston as national business development manager.
Mr Muston has worked within the financial services industry for more than a decade, serving as national sales manager with UBS Asset Management before accepting the position with Legg Mason, and has also worked at Shaw Stockbroking.
Legg Mason managing director for Australia Andrew Sowerby said the appointment of Mr Muston was an “important step” for the business.
“Adam will work with Matt Stovold, Legg Mason’s sales director and head of the recently opened Sydney office. He will work towards strengthening key partnerships in the retail advisory sector,” he said.
“The skills and knowledge he has gained from working in the stockbroking profession will also be an asset to the company.”
Mr Muston will be based in the company’s Sydney office.
