The financial adviser faced a Malaysian court on Wednesday and was handed down a 10-week sentence after admitting to “transmitting by electronic means” video clips depicting sex acts between the man and a former girlfriend.
Deputy Public Prosecutor Chee Ee Ling was pushing for a three-week sentence, citing that “the victim’s face could be clearly seen on both videos and that she was humiliated and suffered irreparable damage to her reputation”.
The accused reportedly said he was “very sorry” for his actions.
