An experienced adviser has joined the consulting firm’s coaching ranks.

Slipstream Group, an accounting and financial planning consultant, has named Nina Forbes as one of its business coaches.

According to the firm, she has joined a coaching team composed of “highly credentialled and experienced” business owners, professionals, authors, and mentors.

Ms Forbes brings more than three decades of industry experience to the role, across financial planning, leadership coaching, business growth, and compliance.

This includes establishing her own financial services business, Strategic Outsource Solutions. Before this, she was head of financial planning at Crowe Horwath, Queensland.

In a statement, Slipstream said the appointment solidifies its commitment to “fostering growth and providing a strategic edge” to its clients.

Noting Ms Forbes’ stint at Crowe Horwath, Slipstream said she managed a team of 30 financial professionals with funds under administration of $500 million. She later managed a 60-strong team when she headed up Whittaker Macnaught between 2010 and 2013.

Additionally, she co-founded “Women in Finance”, an association dedicated to empowering women in the financial services sector.

It is a great opportunity to join a company that is dedicated to empowering high-calibre clients and guiding them through the complexities of their businesses, Ms Forbes commented on her appointment.
