Last chance to come along to Adviser Innovation Summit

ifa is bringing back the much-awaited summit in Melbourne this Wednesday, 1 June.

The 2022 Adviser Innovation Summit is returning this week and is jam-packed with sessions on the latest trends in fintech, innovation and digital transformation.

The conference is designed to go beyond the latest financial buzzwords such as the metaverse, decentralised finance, blockchain, and finfluencers and explore how ASIC is viewing these trends from a regulatory perspective.

Also on the agenda are the ever-present cyber security threats, as we examine their impacts on advisers and their future business operations with the help of Major General (Ret’d) Dr Marcus Thompson, Australian Defence Force (ADF) former head of information warfare, who will host this all-important session packed with tips to manage the growing risk of lurking cyber criminals.

Throughout the summit, a range of speakers will walk financial advisers, fintech consultants, executives, and business owners through key concepts, all the while providing insights into how they can adapt their businesses to keep pace with the rapid digital transformation.

Speakers at this year’s summit also include the founder of machine learning company Flamingo AI and adviser on responsible technology and the future of work, Dr Catriona Wallace, who will delve into the metaverse and how it is set to revolutionise life as we know it.

Money mentor Adele Martin and eInvest Australia managing director Camilla Love will team up for a masterclass on how advisers can leverage video marketing and social media platforms to grow their influence and establish themselves as thought leaders and mentors.

Moreover, open banking and the new Consumer Data Right (CDR) rules for trusted advisers will be another key focus area at the conference, with advisers set to hear from Volt Bank Australia chief customer and partnerships officer Andrew Clouston, Advice Revolution founder Adrian Patty and Adatree CEO and co-founder Jill Berry as they delve into how advisers can capitalise on the opportunities.

In yet another key session, speakers will unpack the personal and general advice models and how advisers can achieve a scaled personal advice model that reduces red tape and saves time.

The Adviser Innovation Summit is being supported by platinum partners Astute Wheel and Dash, as well as gold partners Asendium, FinClear, Integrated Portfolio Solutions, Midwinter, and Plutosoft.

The summit will be held in Melbourne this Wednesday, 1 June, and Sydney on Wednesday, 8 June.
