The dealer group has appointed a former IOOF portfolio manager as its new head of research.
In a statement, Centrepoint Alliance said it had appointed Daniel Stojanovski to the role of head of research, commencing in mid October.
Mr Stojanovski was previously a portfolio manager at IOOF looking after the group’s model portfolios, managed accounts, investment strategy and asset allocation.
Centrepoint said Mr Stojanovski had held “several responsibilities” in investment research at IOOF across managed funds, equities and portfolio allocations.
He had also held previous roles within Challenger’s boutique manager business Fidante Partners and in the investment management division of Morgan Stanley.
Centrepoint group executive of advice services and solutions, Kate Anderson, said the group was delighted to welcome Mr Stojanovski to the role.
“Daniel has a great passion for portfolio construction, contributing to IOOF’s investment philosophy, while also being the key architect of IOOF’s responsible investing ‘ESG’ investment philosophy,” Ms Anderson said.
Mr Stojanovski added that he was “looking forward to working with an organisation that is genuinely passionate about helping advisers to deliver quality advice for Australians”.
