Iress has named its new chief product officer, who has joined from a US AI platform provider.
Joydip Das is set to commence in the role with Iress from 14 September, becoming a member of the group’s leadership team and reporting to chief executive Andrew Walsh.
Mr Walsh said Mr Das brings more than 20 years’ experience in software product leadership, reporting he led software provider SAP’s first SaaS (software as a service) applications and cloud business unit, tech vendor Ariba’s global sourcing platform and Salesforce’s marketing data and customer engagement platform.
Prior to joining Iress, Mr Das was head of product at Socrates AI, an early-stage, US start-up, where he led the creation of portfolio strategy and product roadmap for an AI platform for enterprises.
Previously, he was vice president of product at Krux Digital, a marketing data management platform acquired by Salesforce in 2016, as well as holding senior product leadership roles at Ariba, SAP and Australian energy automation start-up Daintree Networks.
“I have been impressed with Joydip’s broad experience and focus on building strong, innovative product teams, with a clear focus on scale and results,” Mr Walsh said.
Mr Das will be based in Melbourne.
