Dealer Group Executive of the Year

Category Description

This award recognises the individual chief executive, executive or senior manager of an independent or non-aligned dealer group who has built the most successful business over the past calendar year.

Success will be measured by the individual adviser and collective advice capabilities of the company, growth and retention of advisers and other team members, plus the success of the business in terms of revenue and profitability.

The recipient of this award will personify business leadership, be entrepreneurial and committed to the independent advice sector, as well as be a public advocate for independent advice.

This is an individual award open to any executive of an independent or non-aligned AFSL holders that authorises third party financial advice providers, and is based on the period from 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2016.

Assessment Criteria
Submissions will be judged on their responses to the following:

  1. Detail how you have led your dealer group business to drive sustainable revenue growth.
  2. Outline your unique selling points/points of difference as a senior executive compared to your peers, and how you have created a quality advice business as a result.
  3. Highlight innovation in your business and how that has impacted on business growth.
  4. Identify ways you have provided advocacy for the independent and non-aligned sector.
  5. Provide a case study that showcases your success as a dealer group executive. 
  6. Evidence any financial or business metrics and/or statements with supporting documentation, including audited statements, third party independent data reports or client/partner endorsements and testimonials.
