HUB24 has appointed Resolution Life’s Nathan Taggart as its head of retail distribution.
He joins the platform from Resolution Life where he was general manager for distribution and marketing and, prior to this, spent more than a decade at Zurich and OnePath.
Taggart will replace Greg Newman who left the platform last September after nine years as its head of distribution.
HUB24 has been actively targeting the adviser market especially those in the high-net-worth (HNW) segment with its HNW solution Private Invest, which was launched in early 2025.
HUB24 executive general manager for platform growth Matt Willis said: “He will play an important role in continuing to build and maintain our strong relationships with advisers to enable them to deliver better client outcomes.”
Taggart added: “HUB24 has built a strong reputation for service, innovation and collaboration with advisers. I’m looking forward to working closely with advisers to build on the strong access and engagement advisers already have, ensuring they continue to deliver outstanding client outcomes.”
In its quarterly results in April, the platform saw net inflows of $3.98 billion, a considerable dip on the last three quarters, all of which were above $5 billion, and 19 per cent lower than the prior-corresponding-period (PCP).
Total funds under advice (FUA) reached $151.74 billion across the platform, which had $127.83 billion, and portfolio, administration and reporting services (PARS) at $23.91 billion.
