Guo is an associate adviser at Morrows Private Wealth, having joined in 2017. She has a background in accounting, taxation, SMSFs and financial planning, and is a chartered accountant and SMSF specialist.
Guo said the award reflects her commitment to developing her expertise and knowledge in financial planning to better assist her clients.
“I’m incredibly honoured to receive the Gwen Fletcher Award. Coming from an accounting, tax and SMSF background, the CFP Certification Program has been a meaningful step in broadening the way I approach financial advice. It has helped me connect technical knowledge with each client’s broader goals and long-term outcomes,” she said.
“This recognition is a wonderful encouragement as I continue to grow as an adviser and deliver advice that is both technically strong and genuinely client-centred.”
The CFP designation is one of the most recognised credentials in financial planning, with more than 236,300 CFP professionals worldwide.
It is regarded as a mark of excellence for financial planners who demonstrate higher levels of education, professionalism and accountability, while adhering to globally recognised ethical standards.
The designation also provides financial planning professionals with a way to differentiate themselves within the profession.
Anne Palmer, FAAA’s general manager – education, congratulate Guo and the other successful candidates on completing CFP certification.
“Achieving the CFP designation is a challenging undertaking but also a rewarding one, and all those who have completed it should be proud of their accomplishment. It takes significant time and effort, but they now join the more than 236,300 CFPs around the world who have reached the highest level of qualification in our profession,” she said.
“On behalf of the FAAA, I also congratulate Stacy on her outstanding dedication to her studies while maintaining the highest standard in her client work. Her technical background brings a valuable perspective to financial planning.”
